What's Your News?
As a key stakeholder in the future of coal you are no doubt already very aware of the work currently being achieved by the Gladstone Centre for Clean Coal (GC3) in promoting the importance of coal to the Central Queensland Region.
The GC3 has engaged a new consultant to write and publish a "new" newsletter, which we hope will encourage and promote a connectedness and sense of community within the coal community (from producers to users, and related stakeholder groups).
We are seeking news and information from you (our key stakeholder) to ensure that we fulfil this aim of a sense of community.
The content of the newsletter will support a requested "community" style, by seeking out and encouraging information sharing (of a non-sensitive nature) of site related results, events and achievements. A mix of stories will be developed to include:
- A primary feature article for each issue (which may form the theme of that month's issue);
- Any new relevant statistics on new mines throughout the world;
- Site records and achievements from producers and users (production, processing and or equipment);
- "Green" and safety achievements
- Community involvement stories (encouraging inter-social connections between members)
We would like to invite you, as a stakeholder in the future of the coal industry, to be a part of this newsletter, by sharing your non sensitive results and achievements, your facts and figures, your community involvements, and your environmental and safety achievements and learnings with our audience.
Some ideas for stories that you may like to contribute, might include site records: new fleet of trucks or new equipment; largest load on site; number of lost time injury free days/hours — other safety achievements; production records; successful change out of new equipment; any relevant "green" stories; ISO/NOSA /NATA certification; community involvements — have you had a local school visit (are there any photos); etc.
